The Johns-Manville Girls' Glee Club made its radio debut in a concert last night from 8:30 to 9:00 p.m. over Station WCTC, New Brunswick.
Organized in 1941, the choral group is composed of girls from the local J-M plant.
During the war the girls sang before many soldier audiences at U.S.O. centers and camps and the Veterans' Hospital in Lyons. The group has also appeared
before a number of local organizations.
Each year the Girls' Glee Club with the Manville Public School Children give a Christmas Candlelight Service and a Spring Concert. The Spring Concert
will be given on May 6 in the Polish-American Home.
Miss Edna Titlar, former Boro school teacher, directs the choral group.
